Warehouse Operative Van Driver Job Description">

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team on a permanent basis.

This role combines core warehouse responsibilities with occasional delivery driving duties throughout the Dublin region.

You will be part of a small but experienced warehouse team, assisting the goods-in process, preparing orders for customer collections and deliveries.

You will also be expected to confidently operate the counterbalance forklift to support daily warehouse/yard duties.

In addition to these on-site tasks, the role involves delivering products to stores and customers when required, ensuring timely and professional service.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid Category B driving licence and a valid counterbalance forklift certificate.

You will be expected to represent the company with professionalism and always maintain a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods safely to and from designated locations via the company vehicle in a professional manner when required.
  • Pick and pack goods orders for either dispatch or customer collections.
  • Assist the goods in department to unload products and ensure stock is correctly stored.
  • Conduct cycle counts, and stock takes when required as part of the inventory control team.
  • Keep the yard and warehouse area clean, organised, and compliant with safety procedures.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Operate the counterbalance to load and unload incoming customers.

Requirements:

  • Counterbalance forklift mandatory
  • Manual handling certificate
  • Full EU B license
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literate a distinct advantage
