Job Description:

Civil and Environmental Engineering Project Manager - Leadership Opportunity

  • Lead civil and environmental design teams to deliver projects timely, with high quality, and cost-effectively.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support staff development in both senior and junior roles.
  • Prepare high-standard technical reports and tender documentation.
  • Plan and manage design activities collaboratively with Project Directors.
  • Ensure all work complies with internal quality assurance processes and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with other team members across disciplines.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain clear project communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status.
  • A minimum of 15 years' post-graduate experience in design and project management.
  • A proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Strong experience engaging with clients, external stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing project budgets.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Adaptability and collaboration, with a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Self-motivation and capability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings as required.
