About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our Highways and Active Travel team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and active travel schemes. They will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams, managing project portfolios, mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status
  • Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Strong experience in liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets
