About the Role

Beyond is a leading online furniture and home furnishings retailer with a strong presence in the USA. Our Sligo-based Software Development team builds and supports e-commerce platforms for our global retail sites, delivering fast, secure, and delightful experiences for customers, partners, and teams.

This role involves building and maintaining infrastructure to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Linux systems administration, including performance tuning, scripting, and troubleshooting. Additionally, they will have expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, Shell Scripts, or Python.

The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating legacy systems and Git repositories to modern SaaS platforms, as well as proactively testing and engineering for system reliability and performance.

They will also contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and internal best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
  • Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
