We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our engineering and facilities team in Ireland. This role will involve managing the upkeep and function of our owned real estate portfolio, including buildings, building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing, managing, and resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
  • Prioritizing and assigning repairs to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
  • Developing and implementing preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH FACILITY OPERATION, MAINTENANCE & SERVICES COMPANIES, UTILITY COMPANIES, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, ARCHITECTURAL & DESIGN FIRMS, AND GENERAL CONTRACTING FIRMS
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • EXCELLENT PEOPLE LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN A CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT ENVIRONMENT
  • EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE UPTAKE AND FUNCTION OF OWNED REAL ESTATE PORTFOLIO, BUILDINGS, BUILDING SYSTEMS, MACHINERY, LANDSCAPE, AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
  • STRONG RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ABILITIES, INCLUDING BALANCING END USER REQUIREMENTS WITH CONSTANTLY CHANGING FISCAL REQUIREMENTS AND PERSONNEL RESOURCES/CONSTRAINTS
  • Demonstrated ability to create, critique, and oversee preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
  • Experience working with all levels of an organisation and ability to handle customer service issues involving employees in a professional and positive manner
