Regional Financial Manager Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of financial professionals in managing regional AppleCare finances and partnering with international business teams.

  • The Regional Financial Manager will be responsible for managing the EMEIA AppleCare Finance team, including reviewing and approving journal vouchers, balance sheet reconciliations, and other period close deliverables.
  • They will also be accountable for the Management P&L, including associated reporting and metrics.
  • A key responsibility will be developing a deep understanding of each functional area within the AppleCare business, including warranty support, technical support, inventory, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for the management and development of the team of analysts, supporting all areas within AppleCare business in EMEIA.
  • Review and approval of all journal vouchers, balance sheet reconciliations and other period close deliverables, in accordance with prescribed deadlines and internal control environment.
  • Full accountability and ownership of the Management P&L, including all associated reporting and metrics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each of the functional areas within the AppleCare business including but not limited to Warranty Support, Technical Support, Inventory and Sales.
  • Partner with the local business team to provide outstanding analysis, business partnering & decision support, helping to identify cost saving and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Develop positive relationships with the WW Business and Finance teams, to ensure the regional message is communicated effectively and is aligned to global AppleCare goals.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant with experience of managing people in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and social skills with the ability to connect with people.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - a naturally enquiring approach.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
