We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance professional to ensure the efficient operation and effective maintenance of plant equipment.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records to facilitate future planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure all tools and workshops are well-organized and easily accessible.
  • Report equipment issues to the Engineering Manager promptly and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Participate in regular team briefings and cross-training sessions to stay informed and updated on best practices.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety, Food Safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Liaise with contractors as needed to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Essential Criteria:
  • Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar).
  • Experience in a similar maintenance role in manufacturing or industry.
  • Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Desirable Skills:
  • Health & Safety training (e.g. Manual Handling, Working at Height).
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
