The Role We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations at the Monaghan plant.
You'll manage a team of technicians, ensure the smooth running of equipment, and implement preventative maintenance programs - all while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to deliver high performance and a strong safety culture.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
Manage repairs, inspections, and upgrades to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.
Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee external contractors.
Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Identify and deliver process improvements across the department.
About You: Proven experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment.
Strong technical knowledge of processing equipment, machinery, and utilities.
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
