Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system configurations, implementing deployments and upgrades, and analyzing system architecture to identify areas for improvement.

  • ">
  • Monitor system configurations for Cloud services and document effective ones">
  • Implement system deployments and upgrades with team members">
  • Analyze system architecture and highlight potential improvements with senior management">
  • Collaborate to review, develop, plan, and implement strategies for continuous systems improvement">
  • Resolve support incidents and provide prioritization and resolution with support staff">
  • Manage day-to-day issues and escalate to senior team members when required">
  • Use change-control process across IT infrastructure to implement changes">
  • Build relationships with suppliers, application support teams, and the business">
  • Maintain procedure documentation relating to the overall environment">
  • Engage in professional development, including attaining qualifications as agreed with senior management">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • At least 5 years of experience within IT, with 2 years hands-on experience administering and/or implementing Azure environments">
  • Understanding of how to design and implement robust Cloud solutions">
  • Good understanding of Azure with a working knowledge of one or more Azure services, including PaaS SQL, App Services, IaaS, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure networking, Azure Monitor, Logic Apps, Application Gateway, Azure Recovery Services, and Azure Security Services">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail and technical content for the target audience">
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities">
