Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Coach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Class D public service vehicle along scheduled routes.

As a Coach Driver, you will adapt to a rotating shift schedule, which may include early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and split shifts.

Key duties include delivering excellent customer service, handling passenger queries professionally, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, transport regulations, and required documentation.

Pre and post-shift vehicle inspections are also essential, with any issues reported promptly.

Additionally, you will adhere to company policies and represent the organisation positively.

Shift Pattern:

A rotatory shift schedule is in operation, covering multiple weeks (e.g., 5-week rota) with varying shift patterns.

Shifts may include:

  • Early shift: 04:35 - 09:59
  • Middle shift: 10:00 - 13:59
  • Late shift: 14:00
Qualifications & Requirements:

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • A full, clean Irish Class D driving licence
  • A digital Tachograph card
  • A valid Driver CPC for public service vehicles
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights, and public holidays
Training & On-boarding:

We offer a comprehensive 3-week training program, encompassing:

  • Route familiarisation
  • Customer care and safety protocols
  • Tachograph and CPC training (possibly offered in-house)
