Transportation Professional

We are seeking a reliable transportation professional to operate a Class D public service vehicle along scheduled routes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate a public service vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Adapt to a rotating shift schedule, which may include early, late, split, or night/weekend shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting passengers and handling queries professionally.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and transport regulations, including required documentation such as tachograph records and logbooks.
  • Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Represent the organisation positively and adhere to company policies at all times.
Shift Pattern:

The shift pattern is designed to provide a fair distribution of hours and ensure that drivers have regular breaks. The current shift system operates on a multi-week rota, covering early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and split shifts.

Early Shift: 04:35 - 09:59

Middle Shift: 10:00 - 13:59

Late Shift: 14:00 onwards

Essential Qualifications:
  • Full, clean Irish Class D driving licence.
  • Digital Tachograph card.
  • Valid Driver CPC for public service vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights, and public holidays.
Training and Onboarding:

New drivers will undergo a comprehensive 3-week training program, which includes route familiarisation, customer care and safety protocols, and tachograph and CPC training (possibly offered in-house).
