- Maintain and repair onboard electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and automated control systems.
- Perform regular maintenance checks to prevent equipment failures and conduct fault diagnosis when required.
- Contribute to emergency response and damage control efforts, participating in firefighting and other exercises as needed.
- Citizenship: Must be an Irish citizen or legally entitled to work in Ireland.
- Fitness Standards: Meet medical and physical standards, as well as security clearance requirements.
- Age: 18-39 years old at the time of application.
- Educational Requirements: Hold HETAC Level 7 qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics & Instrumentation, or Marine Electrotechnology QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Electrical, Electrical Instrumentation, or Instrumentation.
