Job Title: Mechanical Systems Engineer - Transition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team as a Transition Specialist. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the successful execution and completion of mechanical systems in various projects.

About the Role:

This position requires an individual with strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting detailed inspections and assessments of mechanical systems to ensure quality, safety, and operational standards.
  • Overseeing the compilation and review of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and compliance certifications.
  • Collaborating with project engineers, contractors, and operations teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination regarding mechanical systems.
  • Evaluating system performance and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Developing best practices for turnover processes and contributing to ongoing team training and development initiatives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in mechanical systems turnover, project management, or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
