Job Opportunity

We are recruiting skilled Operatives across Dublin to join our Water and Wastewater Operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and/or water maintenance, with experience in delivering operational services through the operation, inspection, maintenance & repair of treatment and network assets.

  • Deliver high-quality water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities on a varied plant asset base.
  • Operate and maintain assigned assets, including controlling and adjusting assets, inspecting and monitoring assets, testing and calibrating equipment, maintaining assets, replenishing consumables, etc.
  • Operate the water and wastewater network, including secondary treatment points, to ensure a consistent customer service.
  • Conduct regular asset checks and inspections to identify potential issues, raising work orders on Maximo where required.
  • Utilize electronic equipment as assigned, such as handheld units, PCs, and Lone Working App, as required.
  • Monitor and record all necessary quality parameters.
  • Accurately report relevant information related to water treatment using technology systems provided.
  • Perform meter readings as required.
  • Maintain stocks of materials and chemicals, ensuring timely reorders when necessary.
  • Perform general maintenance of all sewers, including rising mains, storm overflows, pump chambers, treatment plants, and sites, including all fencing, gates, and buildings, and ancillary facilities.
  • Maintain interiors and exteriors of all treatment works, pumping stations, and other buildings in good repair and in a clean and tidy condition.

All buildings must be kept in a spotlessly clean condition due to the nature and purpose of the Works.

Candidates must be willing to undertake any other duties deemed necessary and/or required by their line manager.
