Job Description

The National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh is seeking a highly skilled Supplies Officer Grade D to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the performance of the Supplies Department function, including goods inwards, receipting, and issuing.

This role requires an experienced professional with sound ability, good organizational skills, and a strong interest in the field. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel, and experience in using a Finance/Stores system would be desirable.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple issues simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. The successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.

For this position, we require:

  • A Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent education
  • Satisfactory knowledge of storekeeping methods and techniques
  • Understanding of the total healthcare delivery system
