Mechanical Estimating Manager

Role Overview:

This pivotal role is integral to the company's growth strategy, collaborating closely with estimators of various levels to bid on large-scale projects across Ireland and Europe.

About the Position:

  • Develop and agree upon tender strategies
  • Participate in the comprehensive tender process from initial stages through to completion
  • Lead a team of estimators, guiding them in their work
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage Requests for Tenders (RFTs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
  • Conduct thorough reviews of tender documents alongside estimators
  • Publish detailed reports outlining tender progress and review findings
  • Ensure seamless project handovers to site teams, guaranteeing successful project transitions

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Previous estimating management experience is essential, as is proven managerial ability.
