Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental requirements are adhered to.

The role involves undertaking surveying and setting-out duties, checking drawings and quantities, assisting in scheduling of materials, planning the work, and efficiently organizing site operations to meet agreed deadlines.

Liaison with consultants and sub-contractors is also required as necessary, along with ensuring quality records are maintained to meet quality requirements.

The Civil Engineering Professional will resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise, arrange testing of materials, undertake the testing and calibration of instruments used, and keep a site diary.

A key aspect of this role is fully interacting with other members of the construction site team, liaising with other function/departmental managers, introducing improvements and innovation where appropriate to areas of responsibility, and performing other duties as required by the Site Manager to facilitate construction of the works.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A civil engineering degree recognized by Engineers Ireland is essential for this role, as is a full driving license.
