Head of Software Quality and Testing Strategy

The role of Head of Software Quality and Testing Strategy is pivotal in shaping the quality assurance function and test automation strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this senior position requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise in both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to the QA Function, championing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in quality assurance.
  2. Architect, guide, and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive automated test suites and frameworks for front-end and back-end systems.
  3. Design and drive the overall QA strategy, setting clear priorities and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
  4. Lead the recruitment, retention, growth, and management of the QA teams, identifying training needs and fostering professional development.

This role demands strong hands-on experience with automation and performance testing tools, cloud-based test orchestration tools, and version control systems. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality and innovation.
