**Job Title:** Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of designing secure, scalable cloud environments and implementing enterprise-level AWS architectures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Cloud Environment Design: Design and implement AWS Landing Zones with multi-account governance, security, and networking best practices.
  • Automation: Use Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation to streamline provisioning and deployment.
  • Security: Apply AWS security best practices, enforce zero-trust networking, and ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and more.
  • Optimization and Troubleshooting: Drive performance, cost efficiency, and reliability using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, document best practices, and take part in occasional out-of-hours support.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
  • AWS Landing Zones (Control Tower, Account Factory, Customisations).
  • Networking: TCP/IP, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, DNS, Firewall Manager.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
  • DevOps: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) & GitOps.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash, plus Linux/Windows admin experience.
  • AWS Certification: SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer (at least one required).

**Nice-to-Haves:**

  • Kubernetes (EKS) and container security knowledge.
  • Experience with multi-region architecture and firewalls (iptables).
