Cloud Applications Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with highly regarded companies and contribute to projects shaping digital transformation.

Delivering technical solutions for cloud-based platforms is at the forefront of this role. Designing, developing, deploying, testing, and documenting software components are essential responsibilities.

Engagements may vary from managing short, fast-paced projects to larger initiatives, depending on experience. Work involves full application lifecycle activities, including development, deployment, testing, migration, decommissioning, and ongoing maintenance of cloud deployments.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Participate in technical design, deployment, and day-to-day administration
  • Plan and execute implementations, upgrades, and patching
  • Configure software components according to project timelines
  • Coordinate project delivery with multiple teams, including third-party suppliers and client resources
  • Automate provisioning, patching, and upgrades to improve operational efficiency
  • Seek new business opportunities through customer engagement and change control provisions
  • Adhere to project management standards and quality checks
  • Manage expectations and responsibilities for all stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer support via web, telephone, or email
  • Resolve complex technical issues in the cloud environment
  • Administer production applications on servers
  • Troubleshoot alerts to meet service level agreements
  • Collaborate on technical issues with various resources
What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of cloud platform components
  • Experience with cloud deployment of cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology, Windows, UNIX, and application administration in a TCP/IP networked environment
  • Experience with relational DBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Programming/scripting skills (SQL, Java, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with web/application servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss)
