Platform Automation Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

This role involves coding, automation, and developing resilient services ensuring observability and reliability at scale.

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software to automate operational tasks.
  • Develop APIs and services enhancing reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Build and manage infrastructure components in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Balance operational support with engineering initiatives for optimal efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed.
Requirements:
  • A software-minded SRE who codes first and automates everything.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Go for automation and service development.
  • Experience with API design, development, and integration.
  • Hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring, capacity management, and telemetry pipelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Software engineering and automation skills.
  • Strong experience with cloud-based platforms.
  • Exposure to system troubleshooting, stability engineering, and incident response.
  • Risk-aware mindset with experience in production environments.
  • Understanding of high-availability and resilience principles.
