Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer

This role is focused on delivering structural engineering services and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work on varied projects, ensuring design excellence and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structural engineering design process, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and relevant building regulations.
  • Provide design input and oversight to ensure high-quality structural designs.
  • Prepare project reports and presentations, communicating complex technical information clearly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a strong passion for delivering exceptional structural engineering solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Desirable Attributes:

  • Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design to Eurocodes.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in use of structural design software (Robot and Tekla Structural Designer).
