About the Role
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects and programs of work.
  • Attend or lead design review meetings, considering client specifications, contractual obligations, and other client requirements.
  • Mentor and develop staff from graduate level to senior design engineers.
  • Solve problems and develop design solutions, playing a central role in designing necessary mechanical equipment for power and process control.
  • Produce design deliverables, such as specifications, drawings, data sheets, and schedules, in accordance with contract requirements.
Requirements
  • Have a Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A postgraduate Level 9 Masters would be advantageous.
  • Be a Chartered Engineer with a professional body such as Engineers Ireland.
  • Have a minimum of 20 years' relevant experience in the design/delivery of MEICA design services, ideally in the water, gas, and power industry.

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues and demonstrate logical analysis.
