Site Engineer Opportunity
A leading civil engineering project in the midlands region requires an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the construction of various infrastructure components, including earthen embankments, reinforced concrete walls, and sheet pile walls. The project involves the management of a direct labour workforce and specialist subcontractors.">- Producing method statements and risk assessments for safe execution of works;
- Setting out and monitoring the works against design drawings and specifications;
- Supervising civil engineering activities such as excavation, shuttering, steel-fixing, and concrete works;
- Managing daily records and site progress photographs;
- Providing assistance with procurement of goods and services;
- Attending site meetings and liaising with stakeholders;
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and legislation;
- Maintaining as-built records;
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- 3+ years' experience with a main contractor on civil engineering projects;
- Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering;
- Safe Pass Card and valid driving license;
- Ability to use own transport.
The role requires strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of up to 25 personnel. A level 8 degree in Civil Engineering and relevant industry experience are essential for this position.
