Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and support to patients.
  • Manage stock control and ordering, ensuring the dispensary is well-organised and fully stocked.
  • Process prescription claims and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping and patient file management.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Technician qualification (IPU, Higher Certificate, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., TouchStore) is an advantage.
