Job Opportunity: Senior Compliance Project Lead

Overview:

The role of a Senior Compliance Project Lead is to oversee the delivery of compliance projects within an organization. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple compliance projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop steering papers for gap analysis on subcontracting.
  • Refine First Line of Defense (FLOD) supplemental procedures and create training materials specific to DORA regulations.
  • Map regulatory requirements to policies and procedures, recommending enhancements to the control suite or identifying new controls.
  • Oversee and manage regulatory notifications related to DORA.
  • Establish Day 1 operational processes and Day 2 protocols for DORA register management.
  • Review exit plans, oversee testing, and refine the intragroup exit planning approach.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-level responses related to DORA applicability and criticality assessments.
  • Manage project management and evidence review for Day 2 deliverables.
  • Support governance activities by preparing committee packs, drafting minutes, and tracking action items for Third-Party Risk Committees.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working in a risk environment, preferably in Second Line of Defense (2LOD), though First Line of Defense (1LOD) experience is also relevant.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
  • Exposure to DORA regulations and associated compliance requirements.
  • Background in financial services, ideally within a global organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, and control mapping.
  • Prior experience in consulting would be advantageous but is not a core requirement.
