Coordinated Technical Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinated Technical Specialist to join our team.

As a Coordinated Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of technical services and systems across various projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all technical aspects of the project are properly coordinated and executed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the installation quality of technical systems from initial coordination to final commissioning and handover.
  • Supporting site construction management teams in coordinating on-site technical installations and assisting with onsite problem-solving when issues arise.
  • Coordinating with project design teams as required for technical system interfaces with architectural and structural elements.
  • Oversight of technical sub-contractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achieved.
  • Liaising with utility providers and local authorities to ensure timely delivery of services to new developments acting as a point of contact for the respective sites.
  • Anticipating the requirement for modification of existing site services and expediting mains service diversions in conjunction with the utility providers.
  • Supplementing the company's innovation and value engineering processes in consideration and implementation of best-in-class technical systems and products.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Further education in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in similar management roles.
  • A keen interest in energy management and emerging trends in building services design and construction.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
