Job Role
The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate the activities of production personnel to achieve production output, minimizing downtime and driving ongoing improvement.
This individual will be responsible for optimizing the manufacturing process for increased productivity. They must adhere to all operational, administration, H&S, and business controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the plant to meet customer and product quality, service, and safety goals.
- Implement and manage quality systems and standards on site.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to H&S requirements and procedures.
- Recruit, develop, and train production personnel, promoting a strong team approach to manufacturing.
- Establish relationships with departments to deliver key performance indicators.
- Implement improvements to standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety.
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing or construction is required.
- Offsite construction experience is an advantage.
- Strong team management skills, including target achievement and deadline management.
- Able to read and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
- Analytic/problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Dependable, flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
