Job Overview

The Front Office Assistant is a vital role within the hotel team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless guest interactions.

This position requires an individual who embodies professionalism, friendliness, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests warmly and allocating rooms according to established procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of personal and work cleanliness and hygiene
  • Adhering to the company's Code of Conduct and complying with regulations regarding fire safety, health and safety, hygiene, customer care, and security
  • Registering guests upon arrival and verifying all documentation adheres to standard protocols
  • Monitoring hotel room availability and rates continuously
  • Offering and catering to additional guest requests, such as dinner reservations and information
  • Posting charges accurately onto room bills and monitoring management accounts
  • Aware of hotel facilities and amenities, including parking and directions
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and guests, providing consistent high-level customer service
  • Reporting to departments as required and handling reservations, cancellations, and no-shows according to company policies

The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, and maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information with discretion.
