Job Title: Programme Management Leader

About the Position

A prestigious organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a high-profile programme.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders and includes 2 days on-site per week. The initial duration of this contract is 6 months.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain key programme governance deliverables, including the Programme Plan, Risk Register, and Benefits Tracker.
  • Contribute to programme reporting by preparing status reports, board materials, and executive briefings.
  • Liaise with workstream leads to track progress, monitor risks, and ensure benefits realisation.
  • Review and interpret organisational strategies, plans, and policies, translating them into actionable tasks for the programme team.
  • Support finance teams with funding body requests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure programme activities align with deadlines, compliance standards, and procedural benchmarks set by the organisation.
  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and compliance updates for national and international oversight bodies.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in delivering large-scale transformation initiatives (people, process, and technology).
  • Background in public sector or EU programmes is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical project management skills with proficiency in standard PM tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, change management, and benefits realisation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders at both national and international level.
  • 10–15 years' experience in programme/project management roles.
