Commercial Management is a key role in any construction project, requiring strong leadership and organisational skills to deliver projects efficiently.

Job Description
  • As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of projects, leading a team to achieve business objectives and ensuring that all work outputs are accurate and delivered on time.
  • You will need to monitor project fees, ensure resource and time inputs align with approved budgets, and implement change control processes to effectively manage services provided.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and an aptitude for forward planning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field such as construction, cost management, engineering or quantity surveying.
  • MRICS or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure sectors, particularly energy, utilities, large civils, electrical, and mechanical projects.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of industry standard forms of contract, NEC, JCT and FIDIC.
  • Excellent pre- and post-contract technical cost management skills.
  • 7+ years of post-qualification experience in the construction industry, with strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management software.
