Senior Project Manager Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our multidisciplinary design teams and deliver projects within the aviation sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple design teams, making strategic decisions regarding project prioritization, and coordinating bids.Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage multi-disciplined design teams to ensure successful project delivery and achieve agreed targets.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee Project Managers and coordinate the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Resource Allocation: Make informed decisions about resource allocation and project prioritization when necessary.
  • Financial Management: Manage design cost inputs on projects and maintain financial control.
  • Bid Coordination: Coordinate bids, including financial and quality submissions, to secure new business opportunities.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver projects from initial client engagement through design, construction, and handover.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Chartered Engineer or Architect with experience in managing design commissions on large infrastructure projects.
  • Design Experience: Proven track record of managing design teams in a design consultancy office environment.
  • Clients Focusing: Experience leading client-facing roles in the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
