Enterprise Insurance Risk Manager

Zurich is looking for a Risk Management Specialist. The role involves working closely with partners and internal functions to ensure insurance needs are met. This includes managing new business submissions in accordance with Zurich's risk appetite and delegated authority levels. Strong relationships with partners and excellent negotiation skills are essential.
About the Role
As a Risk Management Specialist, your main responsibilities include:
- Manage and analyse new business submissions in accordance with Zurich's risk appetite and within delegated authority levels.
- Negotiate terms & conditions with partners in line with our agreed strategy and target risk appetite while nurturing partner relationships.
- Continuously engage with Sales and Distribution, Risk Engineering (when applicable), and partners to generate, drive, and secure new business opportunities.
To excel in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of commercial insurance, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and strong leadership and delegation skills. You should also be able to operate independently and make decisions effectively. A strong team player with a flexible and positive attitude towards work is essential. The position may require occasional travel to other locations.
Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Underwriting and analysing new business submissions
2. Managing and prioritising new business pipeline and work queues
3. Engaging with stakeholders to generate and secure new business opportunities
