Job Title: Mechanical Systems Turnover Specialist

Building Staff Solutions (BSS) is seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Mechanical Systems Turnover Specialist, contributing significantly to the successful execution and completion of mechanical systems across various projects.

The ideal candidate will possess profound expertise in transitioning construction projects to operational readiness, encompassing comprehensive inspections, meticulous documentation, and strict compliance checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Evaluation:
    • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems, to verify adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Oversee the compilation and review of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and compliance certifications.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and operations teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination regarding mechanical systems.
  • Testing and Commissioning:
    • Collaborate on testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operationally ready.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Handover Support:
    • Assist in the formal handover process, providing training and support to operations personnel.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to ongoing team training and development initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and relevant experience in mechanical systems turnover, project management, or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
