Frontend Engineer Opportunity

The Websites Experience team at a leading platform modernizes and evolves the website builder and CMS. You will develop frontend systems and frameworks that empower internal teams and external customers to build features on top of the website builder in a secure and self-service manner.

About the Role
  • You will work on developing scalable, maintainable code and tackling challenges in UI performance, component design, and user experience.
  • This role focuses on creating high-quality frontend technologies and contributing to the overall architecture while reducing technical debt.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to projects requiring technical expertise, solving engineering challenges with effective and innovative solutions.
  2. Help shape and execute technical strategies for our website product and platform, ensuring quality in both code and system architecture.
  3. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and roadmap planning, aligning technical work with business objectives.
  4. BREAK DOWN TASKS AND ENHANCE TEAM EFFICIENCY THROUGH CODE REVIEWS AND BUILD FEATURES THAT IMPROVE THE USER EXPERIENCE.
  5. Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and effective technical solutions.
  6. Mentor junior engineers, supporting their growth and development.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience developing web-based production systems, with a strong background in building user-facing products and platforms using JavaScript (including React and TypeScript).
  • Experience with building and scaling long-term technical strategies.
  • Ability to keep the user experience front and center when developing new products and features.
  • Experience building modular UI components that empower other teams to integrate features smoothly.
  • Ready to expand your technical influence across teams while maintaining hands-on coding responsibilities.
  • Possess skills to mentor and collaborate with engineers of various skill levels to promote growth and success.
