Lead Geriatric Care Physician

A Senior Medical Officer is required in the Department of Medicine for the Elderly to deliver high-quality patient care. This key role will involve working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric medicine, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients with complex conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans with consultants and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct ward rounds and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- MB BCh or equivalent medical qualification
- Membership of the Irish Medical Council
- Experience in geriatric medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
