Key Role: Financial Data Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Specialist to provide expert support in the implementation of a new financial management system. This temporary role will enable you to work closely with a finance team and utilise your analytical skills to drive business outcomes.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial data to identify gaps prior to system migration
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review take-on balances meticulously
  • Standardise data formats and eliminate duplication for seamless system integration
  • Assist with data mapping and preparation for smooth migration
  • Maintain rigorous governance standards and ensure associated documentation remains up-to-date

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical, reconciliation, and financial data analysis capabilities
  • Proven understanding of best practice financial processes and general ledger concepts
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent numeracy skills
  • Able to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and governance knowledge
