**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lift Apprentice Engineer to join our Repairs/Maintenance team in Dublin. As an Apprentice Lift Engineer, you will work alongside experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete a 4-year Electrical apprenticeship, supported through a structured in-house development programme in conjunction with SOLAS.
  • Undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry.
  • Attend SOLAS and complete course work on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist and liaise with Managers/Supervisors on relevant work activities.
  • Understand and apply the electrical principles associated with lift installation and lift maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance in all Health and Safety practices in current legislation.

Requirements:

  • Be qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard (this must include five passes in the Leaving Certificate, with Maths and English being two of these).
  • Submit an Ishihara colour vision test – it must be on the SOLAS form.
  • Ideally hold a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence; you will need Commercial Use Car Insurance Cover on your vehicle used for business travel.
