As part of the Department of Education, we provide a psychological service to all primary, post-primary schools and special schools. We believe in supporting the wellbeing, academic, social, and emotional development of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide educational psychological services to assigned schools, including casework, support and development, and critical incident response.
- Collaborate with other educational services in local teams and regions to build capacity and improve outcomes for students.
- Participate in regular supervision and contribute to NEPS service development through team, regional, and national meetings.
Requirements:
- A post-graduate professional qualification in educational psychology, clinical or counselling psychology, accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland or equivalent body.
- At least two years continuous supervised post-graduate professional experience working with children and young people in education or community settings.
- A recognised qualification at minimum Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent in Psychology.
