Our goal is to find a seasoned Nursing Director for a leading nursing home in Cork city. This dynamic leader will oversee the day-to-day operations of our care facility and lead a team of experienced professionals.

With over 20 years of experience in senior nursing management, you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion. As a visionary leader, you will develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, improve outcomes, and enhance our reputation as a centre of excellence in aged care.

Selection Criteria

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior nursing management position in care of the elderly.
  • Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum).
  • Current registration with NMBI.
  • A proven track record of clinical, leadership, and people skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations, and relevant healthcare legislation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Proven decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
