Job Title: Accounting Manager

Opportunity Overview

A leading Chartered Accountancy firm in Ireland is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Cavan, Ireland.

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse client portfolio, engage with clients, and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal colleagues as well as both prospective and current clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of trainee accountants, delegating and managing the workload to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Prepare and file VAT and Payroll returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns with Revenue, maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Manage a portfolio of Clients in the provision of accounting services such as audit exemption and audited financial statements preparation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of practice experience (PQE) or recently qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
