Financial Systems Specialist

The Financial Systems Specialist is responsible for leading financial systems support and enhancements, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.

This role requires collaboration across IT, finance, and external service providers, driving process improvements and managing key finance system initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead support and enhancements for General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Allocations, Journal Entry processing, etc.
  • Partner with finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and re-engineer processes.
  • Coordinate application management activities across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Develop functional specifications, manage testing (scripts, UAT, regression), and deliver user training.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on financial processes, including VAT, withholding tax, and reporting.
  • Support governance, prioritization, and monitoring of Finance IT initiatives.
  • Assist with integrations, reporting tools, and analytics (SQL, Power BI, nVision, Business Objects).

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Peoplesoft Financials and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
