Financial Management Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career within the renewable energy sector.

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this organisation aims to transition its finance department from outsourced to inhouse, with the goal of providing real-time analysis enabling effective business decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash flow and Working Capital Management - report on daily cash positions, collaborate with suppliers and payment terms etc
  • Financial Governance - statutory and IFRS reporting, liaising with auditors
  • Management Accounts - provide insightful analysis across budgets, sales, variances etc
  • Compliance - VAT, RCTs etc
  • Leadership - managing and developing a Finance Assistant
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant, ideally with a few years post-qualification experience having worked in a small to medium-sized enterprise
  • Experience in cash flow management and financial modelling
  • Knowledge of FRS 102
  • Prior experience with RCTs and working with contractors is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills essential

Remuneration: Up to €75,000 plus benefits
