Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to take on the role of Customer Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is customer-obsessed, high-energy, and loves learning every day.

The successful candidate will work across different shift times, on varied tasks, and with different colleagues.

As a Customer Assistant, you will be required to sell alcohol, so you must be 18 or over to work in our store.

Shift Patterns
  • Morning Shift: Starting at 5am or 6am, you will stock award-winning products on the shop floor and prepare bakery products for opening time.
  • Middle Shift: You will ensure stores are clean, well presented, and products remain fresh, assist customers, and work on tills to minimize queues.
  • Late Shift: You will serve customers on tills, restock, and get the store ready for the next day.
Job Requirements
  1. Interact with customers in a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner.
  2. Follow stock loss controls in all areas of the store.
  3. Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  4. Follow freshness and rotation principles.
  5. Ensure waste is managed correctly.
  6. Assist in the stock count process.
