Financial Management Role

The Financial Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and support for strategic financial planning.

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including management accounts, activity reports, and performance metrics.
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage Banking and treasury functions.
  • Review and enhance internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with ICT on finance system upgrades and implementations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Contribute to risk management and quality assurance frameworks.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication skills written and verbal.
