We are seeking a seasoned retail leader to take on a challenging role in the operational running of one of our stores. This opportunity is perfect for an individual who is passionate about perfume and has excellent leadership skills.

The Job

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in driving store success by leading a large team and implementing action plans. You will be responsible for ensuring the store is opened and closed at the correct times, adhering to all security procedures, and minimizing stock loss.

  • Lead by example, supporting a team to deliver against key targets.
  • Have a passion for selling and customers, providing fantastic service and coaching your team to do the same.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to review store performance and implement action plans.
  • Assist with stock inventory and ensure actions are implemented to minimize stock loss.
  • Be passionate about coaching and mentoring staff, setting them up for success and encouraging development.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an assistant or store manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for teamwork, knowing how to coach and develop a large team to deliver high standards and results.
  • Ability to think and act strategically, enjoying the hands-on day-to-day running of the store.
  • Expertise in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Understanding of KPIs, including sales, service, profit, and loss.
  • Commercial mindset, understanding the daily operational running of a store.
