Key Responsibilities- Ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively at all times.
- Assist the Manager with the day-to-day management of the sections, maintaining high standards.
- Train staff members, ensuring they are fully HACCP and safety trained, with a customer service focus.
- Monitor margins, address issues proactively, and review financial performance.
- Introduce new ideas to increase sales within the department.
- Manage staff rostering and people management in liaison with the Department Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Order stock, manage stock levels, and control waste.
- Set challenging goals to motivate, inspire, and lead staff and the team.
