We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to fill the role of Assistant Manager at our fast-paced food outlet. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who can assist in the smooth operation of our department, providing leadership to the team, managing day-to-day operations, people management, food quality, scheduling, and all aspects associated with successfully managing a fast food restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively at all times.
  2. Assist the Manager with the day-to-day management of the sections, maintaining high standards.
  3. Train staff members, ensuring they are fully HACCP and safety trained, with a customer service focus.
  4. Monitor margins, address issues proactively, and review financial performance.
  5. Introduce new ideas to increase sales within the department.
  6. Manage staff rostering and people management in liaison with the Department Manager.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  9. Order stock, manage stock levels, and control waste.
  10. Set challenging goals to motivate, inspire, and lead staff and the team.
