Job Title: Cloud Computing Strategist

About the Role:

  • Lead customer engagements for strategic planning and innovation in cloud and telecom markets.
  • Partner with account teams to deliver cloud-based solutions that transform service providers and enable new business models and consumer experiences.
  • Design and architect large-scale systems, leveraging cloud, big data, and service-oriented architecture technologies.
  • Engage with C-level executives and drive revenue growth and business impact.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 7 years in a customer engagement or leadership position.
  • Minimum 2 years of cloud experience, with exposure to main carriers and understanding of cloud trends and challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and ability to inspire innovation.
  • Fluent English and worldwide short-term travel requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven skills in engaging customers on solution areas, with deep understanding of customers' requirements/pains, competitive landscape, and market moves.
  • Expertise in Data Centers with transformation to Cloud experience and leading delivery efforts related to Operations, Cloud, and Data Center Management.

Skills:

  • Software Architecture and/or communications with business qualification or industry experience.
  • At least 2 years' cloud experience with some exposure to working with main carriers, understanding of cloud trends and challenges, and experience with evolution to Software Defined Network (SDN), Network Virtualization Function (NFV), Cloud/ Virtualization and Data Center orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of customers' requirements/pains, competitive landscape, market moves, etc. in the Internet Operations DevOps field.
  • Strong interest and knowledge about industry trends.
