Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adult clients and possess excellent communication skills.

The role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient responses.
  • Seizure Management: Identifying and managing seizure triggers, and providing emergency care when necessary.
  • Pain Management: Assessing and addressing pain needs, and developing effective pain management plans.
  • Dementia Training: Providing education and support to patients and families affected by dementia.
  • Moving and Handling: Safely transferring patients and using equipment to minimize risk of injury.
  • Skin Integrity Management: Promoting healthy skin and preventing pressure ulcers.
  • Professional Boundaries: Maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient autonomy.
  • Lone Working: Working independently in the home environment and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Infection Control: Adhering to infection control protocols and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.
Requirements
  • Current ABA/NMBI pin and previous experience working with children.
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities.
  • Garda Vetting and registration with the INMO or affiliated union.
  • Full immunizations and vaccination history.
  • Desirable: Full clean driving license.
