Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

You will work as part of a multi-skilled team to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of assets, building fabric, services, and estates. Your responsibilities include responding to and carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and lifecycle programme requirements. You must maintain and maximize use of computer-aided facility management (CAFM) systems and complete all works within agreed time frames.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to and carry out PPM, reactive tasks, and lifecycle programme requirements to ensure quality and safety in line with specified service levels and costs.
2. Maintain and maximize use of CAFM systems and ensure all works are completed and closed within agreed time frames.
3. Help promote good working practices and assist in achieving quality, safety, and environmental accreditation within programmes, maintaining a safe and secure environment for service users, staff, and visitors.
4. Use worksheets actively and accurately for the benefit of performance reporting to demonstrate good working practice.
5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the team, at all levels, and clients to ensure customer needs are understood, delivered, and confidence and pride in standards is maintained.
6. Identify, replenish, and control stock equipment spares.
7. Perform repair and maintenance tasks on doors, furniture, fixtures, and appliances in an effective and timely manner.
8. Investigate possible problems and propose solutions.
9. Carry out all kinds of minor repair, carpentry, painting, and janitorial duties.
10. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis.
11. Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance job.
12. Maintain building fabric, floors, and ceilings.
13. General housekeeping duties; maintain cleanliness of plant-rooms etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical experience in an FM environment.
- Good all-round technical skills with clear evidence of current skills and knowledge applied within an active and safe environment.
- Familiar with modern tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance work.
- Hands-on experience in repairing furniture, fixtures, and plumbing tasks.
- Good command of the English language.
